Nice Little Saturday...Maybe
Well since I have a long weekend ahead of me (thank you Mr. King) I am planning a nice little Saturday, and nope not ganna make it to bed bath and beyond like Frank. I’m hitting the slopes with the old ball and chain… I used to be a pretty decent skier (none of that hipster snow boarding for me) straight skiing son, yelling at little kids and grandma’s on the bunny slope to get the fuck out of the way because my turning stinks and I have no clue if ill zoom past you or run you down…that being said I havn’t skied in about 3 years so God only knows what my skill level is now…anyway enjoy a nice little video of people getting totally owned on the slopes!
P.S. God I hope NONE of this happens to me!
Daily News Writer Baffles Mind with Terrible Journalism
Brandon Johnson's life changed instantly after a butter knife fell out of his pocket earlier this school year.He was handcuffed to a bench in his former school's police office, arrested, and then suspended for 10 days. He was later transferred to a disciplinary school.
Now let me stop right here because the rest of this article is pointless and the money line is in the opening paragraph. This kid had a butter knife in his pocket, it fell out, he got in trouble. Okay sounds normal. Well 47 paragraphs later and we still don't know WHY THIS KID HAD A BUTTER KNIFE IN HIS POCKET? Is he just walking around putting cream cheese on peoples bagels? Are butter knives weapons in inner city Philadelphia? I mean Dafney Tales you lead with a punch line and you come back later to fill us in. This is journalism 101. It's first day stuff. Amateur hour.
The age old debate: PATS or Geno’s

I am personally a PATS guy, always have been always will be, its just tradition with me on this one. I mean I remember driving down to Pats at 3 am on a week night in high school to eat a fucking cheessteak, and that’s pretty much testimony to how good this fucking wiz wit is. Not to forget the wiz fries, which maybe the best thing on earth, even though every time you eat an order of these you can certainly take 1-2 years off of your life. Pats doesn’t spend the money on pizzazz and flash and lights like Geno’s does because their a bunch of spirit fingered pansies, but riddle me this Geno pussies, why is the line always, and I mean every single day, triple what the line at Geno’s is??? Its pretty simple to me, a better fucking cheessteak, and if your from Philadelphia you know there are a few things we absolutely cherish, Sports, cheessteaks, hogies, Beer, and women…in that order. So to me it’s a no brainer, PATS all the way. But lets hear your comments, Pats or Geno’s ?
P.S. I already know who will be the first to defend Geno’s and even though this guy is one of my best friends and I was in his wedding, he is a big weirdo creep. This guy, who deeply declares Geno’s is better, saying Pats has to much gristle and too many onions, is also the same guy who has a deadly phobia of Styrofoam (seriously, I am talking this guy could have been on the Maury Show when they had all the weirdo’s with phobia on, like the guy who was deadly afraid of peaches and Maury just brings out buckets of peaches and almost kills the guy..classic episode ) and this is also the guy who is afraid to eat the ends of French Fries because he scared the ends will poke him in the stomach (seriously) …so if this is the type of guy who eats a Geno’s steak over a Pat’s steak, good. I don’t want him standing in line with me and freak-out and maybe kill me because he see some Styrofoam in the trash can, and has to run away like Shawn from the Peaches!
Organized Knife Fight Goes as Planned on the El
Six high school students have been taken to hospitals after a confrontation under the Market Street El in West Philadelphia this morning, police said.
Five students suffered knife wounds and one had a cut mouth police said.
This had to be organized right? Like when we were younger it was meet behind the monkey bars and one of us is leaving with a fat lip. But in 2011 its lets meet at the Market Street station, bring your knife and we'll see who ends up with the worse stab wound and the fastest hospital trip.
Side note: Why is everyone playing by the rules here and only bringing guns? Like, if a group of kids tell me bring a knife and we will fight tomorrow, I am bringing a gun and we'll see how fast you can stab me while I shoot your stupid ass. I'd be like Ron Burgandy just bringing battle axes and a trident and shit.
Another Year Another Hype Story...
http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/2011/1/14/1934645/cam-newton-2011-nfl-draft-auburn Cam Newton Will Be Most Polarizing Player In 2011 NFL Draft
The 2011 NFL draft is still a few months away but we can already tell who will be one of the most discussed players this year -- Auburn QB Cam Newton. He declared for the NFL draft on Thursday and already the talk on him is clearly divided. SB Nation's Mocking The Draft calls him the most polarizing player in April's draft.
Newton is a rare talent. With his size, athleticism and arm strength, Newton has more potential than any player in this year's draft. That alone will get him picked in the first round. He also displays great leadership skills that are impossible to teach. In only one year at Auburn, the Tigers rallied around Newton and he led them to a national title.
Enough is enough, how many years and how many shitty fucking “athletic” QB’s need to be drafted and completely blow dick in the league before they stop with all this hype?
Mark my word, this guy will be complete garbage in the NFL.
P.S. this article seems all to familiar to a few years ago when they hyped the shit out of Jamarcus Russell, and the only reason he was taken No. 1 overall is because Al Davis is fucking coo coo for coco puffs (and that is fucking crazy) and look how that has worked out of the Raaaaidderrs (Swami’s voice on the Raiders)

Spring City man charged with stealing $15,000 in lottery tickets
EAST VINCENT — A Spring City man has been charged with stealing $15,000 in lottery tickets from the convenience store where he worked.
Gopal Biswas, 26, of the 200 block of South Cedar Street, was released in lieu of $50,000 unsecured bail after his arraignment before District Judge James V. DeAngelo.
According to the criminal complaint filed in DeAngelo’s court by East Vincent officer James Bilotta, police received a report of a theft at the Sunoco in the 3300 block of Schuylkill Road on Nov. 13. Bilotta spoke with the store manager at the Sunoco and learned that Biswas was observed in the office of the convenience store with the door shut earlier in the day and found to be scratching Pennsylvania lottery tickets.
Court papers indicate the manager confronted Biswas and asked him if he stole the lottery tickets, at which point Biswas “started to cry and admitted ... that he had scratched off the lottery tickets and planned to leave the store with them.” Biswas reportedly told the manager that he needed the money and planned to give the manager some of the money from the lottery tickets, according to court papers.
When the Sunoco manager told Biswas he was going to call the police, Biswas allegedly ran from the store and got into a silver Cadillac operated by another store employee and left the parking lot, according to court papers.
Bilotta wrote in the criminal complaint that he found a black milk crate containing several “books” of lottery tickets that had been scratched off in the lower corners. Bilotta said the manager explained that if you scratch off the lower corner of the ticket, you can see how much money the ticket is worth.
The manager told Bilotta that $4,840 in tickets were missing, but he wanted to talk with the store owner and accountant to get an accurate total .
Biswas was an employee at the store for several months and he was in charge of the instant lottery tickets and was the only person with access to the combination safe where the tickets were kept, according to court papers. Bilotta learned on Dec. 7 that in addition to the $4,840 in lottery tickets found scratched off, 21 more “books” of lottery tickets had been stolen since October, according to court papers. The total amount of missing or stolen lottery tickets was $15,940, according to the criminal complaint.
Biswas is charged with third-degree felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
What is sin number 3 of the Seven deadly sins?…GREED, and that’s what got my man Gopal (nice name) caught. I mean hey dude, I get it, scratch offs are fun, especially when you have a fucking jillion of them to scratch off, but I mean at least wait until your at home or at your buddy Radhiya’s house or some shit, then scratch away like there’s no tomorrow. but no you had to see those lucky 7’s come up while you were in your office...have fun with that third-degree felony charge dude.
P.S. Way to make this a seal proof case for the cops, at least come up with some bullshit story, not just start crying and admit everything like a pussy, oh but you were ganna give the manager some money, that should go a long in court..good luck having Joe Nobody Public defender get you a plea deal on that.
P.SS How many of you would have stole scratch offs? I would have been tempted like a mother fucker, ill tell you that. But I wouldn’t have, and its for the same reason that keeps me from breaking most laws, JAIL mother fucker, my 5-9 180lbs might not be much in the real world but in the slammer, that frame is screaming to Big Bubba in the Cell Block 4 to make me his white bitch.. and that my friends just seems terrrrible (Charles Barkley voice on the terrible)
The "Flyers Guy"
So I’m the “Flyers Guy” I guess…am I ok with that role?…I guess. I will admit I’m a rookie at this blog stuff, maybe I need a veteran presence like Brian Boucher around to help me out…are you kidding me?? Brian Boucher belongs in the adult league over at Ice Line with a 10:30pm start on a Tuesday night and a case of beer on the bench (oh wait, that’s me). Don’t let his record fool you, this guy wasn’t good enough in 1998 and he’s not good enough now. My buddy at work the other day came up to me and said he was going to take his kids to see Michael Leighton at a Phantoms game on the 21st, tickets were 12 bucks and are 4 rows from the glass…12 bucks. 9 months ago Leighton was between the pipes in the cup finals, and now “Boosh” sent his ass packin to 12 dollar tickets and a free hot dog in the minors?? As David Puddy would say…brutal.
