I like the style of Eddie Simmons
A 26-year-old Bensalem man, apparently angered that his vehicle was being blocked by the operator of a snowblower, was arrested this morning and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly threatening the worker with a gun, police said.
According to a Bensalem Police Department statement, a subcontractor removing snow from Simmons' apartment complex was confronted by Simmons, who "began to argue with him about his vehicle being plowed in."
The worker replied that he did not plow Simmons' vehicle in, police said.
"Simmons then stated that somebody better move the snow or somebody is going to get shot," according to the statement. Simmons then pulled a black, 9 mm semiautomatic handgun from his pocket and pointed it against the unidentified worker's right cheek before returning to his apartment."
What did this snow plow guy expect to happen? You can't just go around moving snow towards peoples cars and not expect to end up with a 9mm in your cheek. Just another Wednesday in Bensalem. I love the ultimatum from Simmons here, in the end he didnt really care if the plow guy did this or someone else did it, just move the fucking vehicle or end up without a face, simple choice.
With this bullshit snow coming down yesterday and now this article, I wanted to bring up a time old question regarding the parking spot situation with snow. I live on a public street where there are no assigned spots, its thunderdome, every man for themselves. Which is why when I come out this morning and people have fucking laundry detergent bottles in the spots they shovled out I wanted to punt them down the block. Whats the standard of conduct here? You shovel your car out of a spot, thats your spot now? Fuck that. If you come out and shovel a spot then put your dumb ass in your car and move it, you better believe that spot is up for grabs. Put your car in reverse like a man and fire that shit over the snow hump, none of this pussy shovelling out shit.
